September 2002 - Cuauhtemoc, Mexico - the surgical team performed 57 surgeries on children from the city and the district of Chihuahua, Mexico. Humanitarian volunteers translated medical manuals from English to Spanish. This was Dr. and Mrs. Hirsche's last trip.

March 2003 - Guatemala City, Guatemala - the surgical team performed 60 surgeries on 40 children. The humanitarian and dental services team removed or restored 800 teeth, assisted with health teaching in 4 villages and presented lectures on hygiene and dental care.

September 2003 - The surgical team returned to Cuauhtemoc, Mexico to give humanitarian service in schools and provide surgical care to children from the city and the district. 25 surgeries were performed.

January - March 2004 - Both teams returned to Guatemala to provide surgical and dental care.

Oct 2004 - Surgical team traveled to Cuauhtemoc, Mexico.

January - March 2005 - Both teams returned to Guatemala.

October 2005 - Surgical team accompanied by Dr. Robert Rey (Dr. 90210) and a TV crew from the E! Entertainment Channel went to Cuauhtemoc Mexico.

February 2006 - Both the Humanitarian/Dental and Surgical teams will visit Guatemala with the largest number of volunteers yet.

November 2006 - The Surgical team will return to Cuauhtemoc, Mexico. For the first time we operated on children without an ear (microtia). Next year we'll do the second stage reconstruction.

January 2007 - Three surgeons along with three complete OR teams and additional recovery room nurses went to Guatemala City. The trip was sponsored by HSF and The Fundacion Pediatrica Guatemalteca. Over 50 children including two who would have had to travel to the U.S. because their surgeries were so complex.

Two new surgeons, Drs. Faizi Siddigi and Jed R. Bindrup joined surgeon Charles Stewart and other team members for a total of 28 people.

October 2007 - A small surgical team of 12-14 people will travel to Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. The trip is sponsored by the Lion's Club of Cuauhtemoc.

February 2008 - A trip to Guatemala City is scheduled.
